About Palyn

My name is Palyn Everhart. I’m a student at Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington, NC. I believe that hard work and accountability are traits that will help anybody succeed. I display positive thinking and encourage all my peers to work together for a better work environment.

Why Me?

Unlike most female athletes who have been told to concentrate on just one sport, I’ve been successful in three sports starting as a freshman shooting guard for the Ashley High School Varsity basketball team, starting as a freshman midfielder for the Ashley High School Varsity soccer team (ranked #5 high school soccer team in the nation) and runner up state high school 4A 2024 & 2025 finals, and being selected to play for the USA at the 2024 European Women’s Lacrosse Championship in Portugal. I also strongly believe that good academic records provide athletes a vehicle to play college sports.

Kids Helping Kids Non-Profit Program

Kids-Helping-Kids Program is a non-profit program my brother and I co-founded to help kids see the benefits of helping underprivileged kids in our community receive Christmas gifts from Santa at Christmas time. Many restaurants, gyms, and families have stepped up to help us over the years put up Christmas trees with wish list from community families in need. In total, this Kids-Helping-Kids program has raised thousands of dollars and has helped over 100+ families in our community.

We are thankful for all the support everyone has given Kids Helping Kids for many years. I want to take this opportunity on behalf of Kids Helping Kids, my family, and me to thank the many people and businesses who are and have helped us this 2025 Christmas Season. We helped 30+ kids and their families in total this season due to your donations to our Kids Helping Kids program. We continue to appreciate Putters Pub for allowing us to have our annual 2024 Kids-Helping-Kids putt putt tournament.

Annual Kids-Helping-Kids Putter Pub Tournament, Carolina Beach

Our Annual Kids-Helping-Kids Putter Pub Tournament in Carolina Beach brought together an incredible community effort in support of local families in need. During the 1st Annual 2024 tournament, 36 teams and 18 hole sponsors participated to help raise money for the Kids-Helping-Kids Program, a nonprofit initiative co-founded by Kenan Everhart and Palyn Everhart to teach children the importance of giving back and helping underprivileged kids in the community experience the joy of Christmas.
